A four-days training and information exchange event has been organised the Joint Research Centre, Institute for Health and Consumer Protection (JRC-IHCP) for a delegation of the Chinese regulatory authorities (General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection abynd Quarantine of the People Republic of China – AQSIQ).
Both EURL ECVAM and DG SANCO staff participated in the information exchange on EU and Chinese regulations in the field of cosmetics, on safety assessment and regulatory aspects in both regions.
JRC-IHCP scientists gave presentations on the validation practice and strategies of EURL ECVAM and its current activities in the fields of skin sensitization, carcinogenicity and toxicokinetics, followed by a practical training in the EURL GLP Test Facility on validated assay protocols in these areas.
