ECHA has made a decision to add 1,4-benzenediamine, N,N’-mixed phenyl and tolyl derivatives to the CoRAP for 2013 with Germany being the Member State responsible for the evaluation. From today, the date of publication, the German competent authority has 12 months to evaluate the substance and, if necessary, prepare a draft decision asking for further information on the substance.
The German competent authority has identified an initial concern related to the PBT properties and exposure related to wide dispersive use, consumer use and high tonnage.
