South Korea’s Toxic Chemical Substances List was updated on July 27, 2016. In accordance with the revision in the official gazette, the following 15 substances were added:
1. Chlorodimethylsilane [CAS# 1066-35-9]
2. 2-Propyn-1-ol, 1-methane sulfonate [CAS #16156-58-4]
3. Tris (2,3,4,5,6,- pentafluorophenyl) borane
4. 2,3,5,6 – Tetrafluorobenzyl trans – 2- (2,2-dichlorovinyl)- 3,3 – dimethylcyclopropane carboxylate [CAS# 118712-89-3]
5. 2- Dodecenal [CAS# 4826-62-4]
6. [4- (1- Methylethyl) phenyl] (4-methylphenyl) iodonium trifluorotris ( 1,1,2,2,2-pentafluoroethyl) phosphate (1-) (1:1) [CAS# 1245634-39-2]
7. 4-(2- Methylpropyl) cyclohexanepropanal [CAS# 1254940-85-6]
8. 6,6a,7,8,9,9a- Hexahydro- 7,7,8,9,9 –pentamethyl- 5H- cyclopenta[h]quinazoline [CAS# 1392325-86-8]
9. 6,7,8,9- Tetrahydro- 7,7,8,9,9- pentamethyl – 5Hcyclopenta[h]quinazoline [CAS# 1315251- 11-6]
10. N3- (Ethylcarbonimidoyl) – N1,N1- dimethyl – 1,3- propanediamine, hydrochloride (1:1) [CAS# 25952-53-8]
11. N1-(3- Aminopropyl) –N1- dodecyl-1,3- propanediamine [CAS # 2372-82-9]
12. (1R, 4aS,10aR) – 1,2,3,4,4a,9,10,10a- Octahydro- 1, 4a- dimethyl- 7- (1-methylethyl) -1- phenanthrenemethanamine, hydrobromide (1:1) [CAS# 40043-73-0]
13. [Triphenylsulfonium salt with 1-[(3-hydroxytricyclo [3.3.1.1.3, 7] dec-1-yl) methyl] 2.2-difluoro-2-sulfoacetate (1:1) [CAS # 912290-04-1]
14. Tetrahydro- 1,3,4,6-tetrakis (2- mercaproethyl)imidazo[4,5-d]imidazole-2.5(1H,3H)-dione [CAS# 1569262-17-4]
15. 1-Nitronaphthalene [CAS # 86-57-7]
Any importer or manufacturer of Toxic Substances in Korea must report them to the South Korea Ministry of Environment.
