In June 2011, Mexico released NMX-R-019-SCFI-2011 based on the UN GHS standards. Compliance with NMX-R-019-SCFI-2011 is currently voluntary, but in October 2015, a new Mexican Official Standard was published, NOM-018-STPS-2015. Multi – Jurisdiction SDS Options

A Mexican HDS may be combined with US and Canadian regulations, this is not recommended due to some of the differences.
