Cookie, storage and retention details

Nexreg Compliance explains here how we handle personal information when you visit our website, contact us or do business with us. Optional tracking is your choice; you can send an enquiry without allowing it.

Information we collect and why

We collect the contact, company and enquiry information you provide, such as your name, email address, telephone number and message. We use it to answer your request, prepare quotations, provide services, follow up and maintain the business relationship. Information may be recorded in our customer-management systems and included in staff notifications.

Our website and hosting systems process technical information, including IP addresses, browser information and security events, to deliver and protect the service. Please provide only information relevant to your request. If you provide another person’s personal information, make sure you are authorized to do so and bring this notice to their attention.

Website measurement and lead attribution

With the relevant optional permission, we collect information about how you reach and use our website, including referring website domains, landing pages, campaign details and visit times. Advertising measurement may also use advertising click identifiers.

We may link this permitted source information to your enquiry, customer record, sales opportunity and related job outcomes. This helps us understand which sources generate enquiries and business, improve our website and assess advertising expenditure. Attribution can be incomplete and does not establish a complete record of an individual’s activity.

Our initial optional measurement services are Google Analytics and Google Ads. Google may receive technical information, permitted identifiers and measurement events. Our attribution integration is designed to exclude submitted names, email addresses, telephone numbers and enquiry text from Google measurement payloads. Allowing measurement does not authorize personalized advertising through this integration.

Cookies and your choices

Essential technologies support website operation, security, privacy preferences and enquiry handling. In our new attribution flow, optional analytics and advertising measurement remain off until you allow the relevant purpose. Making no choice, closing the notice or continuing to browse does not provide that permission.

  • Allow: permit analytics and advertising measurement.
  • Essential Tracking: keep both optional purposes off.
  • Customize: choose analytics and advertising measurement separately.

You can reopen Privacy settings to change or withdraw your choices. Withdrawal stops future optional collection covered by that choice; requests about information already held are handled separately. A recognized Global Privacy Control signal keeps advertising measurement off in our new attribution flow. Older Do Not Track signals are not a substitute for these settings.

Some existing enquiry forms are embedded from Method and also involve its systems and privacy practices. Our parent-page controls do not establish that every embedded service uses no cookies. Browser settings can restrict storage, although blocking essential technologies may affect site features. Our Cookie and Retention Notice below explains storage purposes and periods.

Promotional communications

Allowing website tracking does not subscribe you to newsletters, webinar invitations or other promotional messages. We send these only with a separate permission or another basis permitted by applicable law, and provide an unsubscribe process where required. You can still receive responses and service communications relating to your request or business relationship.

Service providers and overseas processing

We use service providers for website hosting, enquiry processing, customer management, staff communications and permitted measurement. These include WP Engine, Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, Method CRM, and Google Analytics and Google Ads. We remain accountable for personal information under our control, including information processed for us by service providers.

Information may be processed outside Canada and be subject to local laws and lawful access by courts and public authorities. Method states that its business data, including CRM contact information, is stored in the United States. Canadian hosting for part of our service does not mean all processing takes place in Canada.

See the privacy information from WP Engine, Microsoft, Method and Google. These notices supplement our explanation and do not remove our responsibilities.

Retention

We keep personal information for the purposes described here, taking account of the business relationship, legal requirements, unresolved requests and disputes. Temporary full enquiry copies in our new processing service are normally removed from active records 90 days after successful delivery to our customer-management system and acceptance of the staff alert. Unfinished deliveries and unresolved privacy work may require longer retention.

Permitted marketing and sales reporting history is retained for up to five years for historical comparisons, subject to applicable requirements. The temporary-copy period does not delete customer records, staff emails or accounting records. Backups and recovery copies have separate retention controls. More detail is available in the Cookie and Retention Notice below.

Safeguards and other disclosures

We use safeguards appropriate to the information and its sensitivity. No website or storage system can guarantee absolute security. We may also use or disclose information as permitted or required by law, to address security incidents or fraud, resolve disputes, or establish and protect legal rights.

Independent external websites have their own practices. This does not remove our responsibility for providers processing information on our behalf. Our services are intended for businesses; please contact us if you believe a child has supplied personal information requiring our attention.
