OEHHA adds three Pesticides to Prop 65 Warning List
The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) has added three pesticides to the Proposition 65 list.
The three commonly used Pesticides are:

- Malathion (CAS No. 121-75-5): Is an organophosphate insecticide that is used in agriculture, residential insect control, public health programs, and residential landscaping.

- Tetrachlorvinphos (CAS No. 22248-79-9): Is an organophosphate insecticide that is mainly found in dermal and feed-through insect control treatment for livestock and is used to kill both ticks and fleas.

- Parathion (CAS No. 56-38-2): Is an organophosphate insecticide that is primarily used on plants containing cotton, vegetables, fruit, wheat, and nuts.
These three pesticides will require a Prop 65 warning starting May 20, 2017.
