Ontario’s Red Tape Challenge

 

The Canadian Province of Ontario is looking for people to participate in the Red Tape Challenge.

 

The Province’s Challenge, which focuses on the chemical manufacturing sector, aims to help the government of Ontario identify any business regulations that may need to be either updated, improved or eliminated all together.

 

Comments to these regulation categories are needed:

 

–       Transportation;

 

–       Health and Safety;

 

–       Environmental;

 

–       Employment and Labour;

 

–       Taxation and financial reporting;

 

–       Land use and planning; and

 

–       Corporate and commercial law.

 

All suggestions in relation to the province’s chemical manufacturing are being accepted until the end of September.

 

The summary of the Red Tape Challenge is due on October 7, with the final report expected in March, 2018.
