On June 28, 2018, Health Canada hosted a webinar for the Vaping industry on regulatory requirements under the CCPSA. The day prior was the French session. In these webinars, Health Canada discussed the requirements for vaping products and vaping liquids under the Tobacco and Vaping Products Act (TVPA), Food and Drugs Act (FDA), and Canada Consumer Product Safety Act (CCPSA).

As of May 23, 2018, vaping products containing nicotine are now legal for importation into Canada. Along with this, are specific requirements for child-resistant closures and label warnings as per the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations (CCCR). There are also specific requirements for vaping devices under the CCPSA.
