On July 22, 2016, the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) released the first four Section 5 (a)(3) determinations for premanufacture under the newly amended Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA).
All four of the new chemcials were found to have a low potential for both health and environmental hazards.
The four new chemicals under the reformed TSCA are:
