This news update regarding WHMIS after GHS is brought to you by CCOHS.

CCOHS and Health Canada have updated the WHMIS After GHS e-courses and fact sheets to provide useful summary information for suppliers, employers and workers. These updates reflect the recently published proposed Hazardous Products Regulations.

Health Canada recently published a proposal to repeal the Controlled Products Regulations and replace them with the Hazardous Products Regulations in Canada Gazette Part I. This is the next step in the implementation of the GHS for workplaces in Canada. There will be a 30-day comment period on the proposed regulations.
