China has exempt 100 chemicals from physical risk rules.
China’s State Administration of Work safety (SAWS) has published 100 chemicals that will be exempt from the physical risk identification and classification.
The list has been divided into two sections containing 50 chemicals each. List number one consists of chemicals that have no physical risk, while list number two consists of chemicals alongside their physical risk classifications. Both health and environmental risks have not yet been included on the list.
Chemicals that are used for scientific research and volume produced/ used under 1 tonne/ year are exempt from the physical risk classification.
